Initially, it started as a part of the Venice Biennale., which was one of the oldest art exhibitions in Italy. The festival is held in late August or early September on the islands of Lido in the Venice Lagoon. The highest award of this festival is Golden Lion, which is given to the best film screened in this film festival. Moscow International Film Festival: This film festival dates to 1935 but unlike most of the oldest film festivals it is not as famous as other film festivals. Cannes Film Festival: The origin of this film festival goes back to the year 1938-39. It is called as “Festival de Cannes” and started in France. Golden Palm is the most prestigious award given to the best-screened film in this film festival. This film festival is held annually but in recent years this film festival has been in news for a lot of controversies! Berlin International Film Festival: This is also known as Berinale, was found in West Germany in the year 1952 (during the Cold War period). • Top 10 Beaches In The World- All About Serenity & Tan

by Priti Sharma TRAVEL Top 10 Beaches In The World- All About Serenity & Tan by Priti Sharma 14 February 2023 Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement The globe is genuinely home to an incredible variety of magnificent beaches, each more breathtaking than the last, whether they are gifted with blindingly dazzling white sands or situated in the most exquisite setting possible. Some of them are located in the center of well-known cities, while others are hidden away on tropical islands or deep within national parks. These stunning beaches must be seen to be believed, whether they are surrounded by striking rock formations, rocky cliffs, or softly swaying palm palms. 10. Navagio Beach Navagio Beach and the bright blue seas that surround it surely present a stunning image, framed by dazzling white limestone cliffs that tower above its sandy coastline. The stunning beach, which is one of the most picturesque natural settings in all of Greece, lies on the Ionian Island of Zakynthos and is frequently featured in tourist publications. Ironically, Navagio Beach is only reachable by boat and is known as "Shipwreck Beach" due to the rusted wreckage of a ship that lays on its beaches. The beauty gets better and better as you get closer as you skim through the glistening waves towards the hidden cove. 9. The Baths The Baths are located on Virgin Gorda, the third-largest island of the British Virgin Islands, at its southernmost point. On the beach, massive granite stones are piled up and form stunning tunnels and grottoes that are open to the sea and flood during high tide. The striking impact is enhanced by the tropical palms that line the sandy beaches. 8. Tapuaetai A tiny islet in the Cook Islands' Aitutaki atoll is called Tapuaetai (One Foot Island). The Aitutaki lagoon is beautifully visible from there, and depending on the tide, you may stroll on a sandbank some distance away from Tapuaetai. At the World Travel Awards held in Sydney in June 2008, the beach received the title of "Australasia's Leading Beach." 7. Zlatni Rat Zlatni Rat, also known as the "Golden Horn," projects into the Adriatic and varies in length and shape with the wind, tide, and current. The serene port town of Bol is only a short distance from the white pebble beach, which is situated on the south shore of the Island of Brac. Due to its breathtaking surroundings and glistening turquoise seas, Zlatni Rat is one of Croatia's most well-known tourist sites and frequently appears on the covers of travel publications from all over the world. It was ranked among the top ten beaches in the world by Lonely Planet in 2009. 6. Oludeniz Oludeniz, a beach in southwest Turkey with the charmingly called Turquoise Coast, is becoming a more well-known destination as news of its enormous attractions spreads. Oludeniz, which means "dead sea," is home to some outstanding snorkeling and scuba diving because of its tranquil, clear waters and amazing marine life. Even while its large sandy beach is great for lounging, the stunning surroundings are worth investigating. The legendary "Blue Lagoon," surrounded by stunning mountains, is a must-see, and many tourists parachute down to enjoy the aerial view of the beach. 5. Trunk Bay On St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Trunk Bay is a beach that is part of a National Park. The National Geographic Society named it one of the world's most beautiful beaches, drawing throngs of cruise ship tourists. The beach's amenities include a snack bar, bathrooms and showers, a lifeguard, and—most famously—a coral reef snorkeling route. 4. Maya Bay Since having shot to fame in the 1999 film The Beach, Maya Bay in Thailand has been one of the most sought-after beaches in the world. Such was its popularity, however, that Thai authorities had to shut the beach in 2018 and limit the number of visitors to 2,000 a day to help protect and preserve the environment. Surrounded and sheltered by towering limestone cliffs, Maya Bay’s white sand beach and inviting waters make for one of the most stunning settings imaginable. Located on the island of Ko Phi Phi Le, which lies in the Andaman Sea, Maya Bay is a treat to visit. Visitors can enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, and scuba diving around the bay. 3. Whitehaven Beach It is simple to see why Whitehaven Beach in Queensland, Australia, is often listed as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It spans about seven kilometers, with magnificent turquoise seas around its isolated bays and lagoons. It is home to some of the cleanest beaches on Earth. The beach receives comparatively few tourists as a result of its isolated position in the Whitsunday Islands. With no one else in sight, you may relax on the sand, go kayaking, or have a BBQ. Whitehaven Beach is located in the center of the Great Barrier Reef and is only reachable by seaplane, helicopter, or boat. 2. Tulum Tulum, which is located on Mexico's Caribbean coast, is home to one of the best-preserved Mayan ruins in the nation as well as one of its greatest beaches. The Mayan city of Coba originally used it as its main port. Tulum lacks the beauty of certain other well-known locations since it was constructed about 1200 AD when the Mayan civilization was already in decline. However, the backdrop of a tropical beach makes this one of Mexico's busiest tourist spots and a photographer or artist's paradise. 1. Anse Source D'Argent Anse Source D'Argent distinguishes out from the pack among the gorgeous and opulent beach resorts that Seychelles is known for. It is situated on the island of La Digue and is one of the most well-publicized beaches in the world. Anse Source D'Argent, is one of the best beaches in the world, with a winning combination of pink sand beaches, coconut palms, and big granite rocks dotting the coastline. It truly is an island paradise unmatched by any other, with the warm seas of the Indian Ocean lapping at its shores, clean and unspoiled nature all about you, and exotic birds fluttering overhead. • Porsche Taycan Turbo GT : Luxury In Overdrive

Porsche Taycan Turbo GT : Luxury In Overdrive LIFESTYLE Porsche Taycan Turbo GT : Luxury In Overdrive By Ananya Patankar 19 July 2025 Advertisement The silhouette of speed, frozen in time. With Yas Marina in its rear-view mirror, Porsche’s electric flagship is rewriting the language of luxury performance. On the cool tarmac of Yas Marina Circuit , beneath the desert stars and surrounded by the hushed intensity of track lights, Porsche made history. The Taycan Turbo GT didn’t just break the record for fastest production electric vehicle around the 5.281-kilometre Formula 1-grade circuit—it shattered it, clocking in a blistering 2:07.247. With GT racing driver Ramez Azzam behind the wheel and FIA observers on watch, it was speed redefined—silent, surging, and steeped in precision. The moment was official. The message was unmistakable: this isn’t just Porsche’s fastest EV. It’s a revolution on rubber. Meet the new, redefined and evermore powerful Taycan Turbo GT. Every surface, every seam of this Porsche is a study in how performance can meet poise. The optional Weissach Package strips away the rear seats in the name of performance purity, while carbon fibre elements and a dramatic fixed rear wing don’t just add character—they subtract drag. Even when parked, it seems ready to pounce. It’s not just streamlined—it’s sculpted, as if every curve has been air-brushed by speed itself. And yet, despite its aggressive silhouette, the Taycan retains Porsche’s design ethos of grace without gimmick. This is not a car you drive. It’s a car that propels you. With up to 1108 PS on tap thanks to Launch Control and Attack Mode—borrowed straight from Porsche’s Formula E bloodline—the Taycan Turbo GT explodes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.2 seconds. Top speed? 305 km/h. But those are just numbers. What is truly astonishing is how it all feels: the torque isn’t delivered, it’s detonated. Corners don’t resist, they invite. Straightaways feel like warp zones. It’s not brute strength—it’s balletic savagery, every motion engineered with minute attention and unleashed with seamless poise. At the heart of the Taycan Turbo GT lies a pulse inverter derived from Porsche’s 99X Formula E car , boosting current and response time to near-telepathic levels. The Porsche Active Ride suspension, tuned specifically for this GT variant, balances wheel loads like a tightrope walker mid-performance. And those brakes—lightweight ceramics refined with optimized disc chambers—shave kilograms where it counts. Even the weight savings from the Weissach Package are deliberate: 75 kilograms gone, and not a gram wasted. Its performance is measured in milliseconds and engineered in milligrams. The result? A machine that doesn’t just harness electricity—it commands it. As for the driving experience, low-slung and snug, the driver’s seat in the Taycan Turbo GT isn’t a throne—it’s an exoskeleton. You feel it before you even move: the pulse of potential underfoot, the poised anticipation of launch. As Azzam noted, “You sit low in the car so you feel connected.” And connected you are—every flick of the wrist on the steering, every feather of the throttle, met with immediate, almost emotional response. This isn’t merely about performance. It’s about presence. The GT isn’t trying to impress you. It’s trying to include you—in something precise, poised, and unrelentingly Porsche. And yet, despite its circuit credentials, the Taycan Turbo GT is still wrapped in the refined language of everyday Porsche luxury. Inside, it’s all clean interfaces, sculpted surfaces, and tactile satisfaction. It's as practical as it is provocative—offering the driver all the data, comfort, and control needed for daily roads, even as it carries the DNA of a track predator. There's an ease here, a confidence. No shouting. No theatre. Just seamless transitions—from traffic light to track lap, from asphalt to afterglow. There was a time when electric was seen as an alternative. Then, it became inevitable. Now, thanks to machines like the Taycan Turbo GT, it’s aspirational. This is not just Porsche's fastest production EV. It’s one of its most significant. A car that shows how sustainability and sensation can coexist—without compromise. With every lap record it shatters, with every supercar it silently humbles, the Taycan Turbo GT whispers a truth that’s getting louder with every passing year: the future isn’t coming. It’s already at the start line. And it’s wearing a Porsche crest. • Mannat Singh, the story of an aspiring actress

Mannat Singh, the story of an aspiring actress by Aparajita Jaiswal Mannat Singh, the story of an aspiring actress 28 September 2022 COVER STORIES Advertisement Mannat Singh is not just a successful model but also an aspiring actress and found a passion for acting through pure serendipity. A young, goofy, introvert whose life changed when she entered the world of modeling through Miss India, moving out of her shell. "I thought that there's so much more that I could do and I'm not just this shy person. I can go out there in the world and try to have big dreams and I can achieve whatever I want if I put my mind to it," Mannat goes on tell us "I am really glad that I took that scary step of coming to a different city from a town where everything was my comfort alongside my my family. Taking that leap of faith, coming here and working for my dreams every day, I feel like that is commendable and that is the reason that I do this. I want to be an actor and I love what I do. I love where my life is going to go and the direction that I'm on. And that's all that I've got." Mannat Singh expresses how as an actor she wishes to bring the character to life and also be true to the character she is playing. As an actor you're always striving and being fearless enough to take chances. "The whole point acting us to bring the character to life. Everybody has a process which is very different and it's a very subjective thing. It differs from person to person, actor to actor. So I don't think there's a set way of performing this art but I feel it depends on the person and the actor." There are several stages of being an actor in a show or a film. There are certain thrilling aspects and there are certain parts where hard work and focus is key. Mannat comments on the same, "I feel that I embrace and enjoy the whole process. From getting the script and reading the script, understanding the writer's point of view to actually bringing the character to life and adding my own personal touch, the whole process is extremely thrilling to me. When you're auditioning and you're going about the scene and performing in front of people, I feel like there comes a point for me where I'm knee deep into the character that I start improvising. So, when I'm improvising, I am really getting under the skin of the character and it's just coming really naturally to me. That is the point where I know that I can do this. That particular point is very exciting and thrilling for me." "Not having explored many genres yet, I would be really excited to do a thriller or mystery film or show but the most difficult genre to perform, in my opinion, is comedy, because I feel like if you can make the audience laugh and you know it all comes with ease to you, is the most difficult thing to do. If ever got a chance, I'm sure that I'll have to work really hard. As a person, I believe I'm funny and have a good sense of humor but while performing a comedic role, I believe it will be one of the most difficult things to do but I’d still like to explore that." Having asked what present day mega director inspires her and she would like to be directed by, Mannat answers with a slight glow in her eye as she talks about her inspiration, "The filmmaker that inspires me the most and that I would love to work with in the future is Sanjay Leela Bhansali as I have just really liked his work since I was a little child. I've been watching him since Devdas and then I absolutely loved guzaarish and Ram Leela, eventually all the series that he's made, all the great films that he's made till date. I like his process, the way that he makes his characters a certain way, the whole direction process and it's just very thrilling to the eye from an audience's point of view. I would like to be directed by him." Mannat believes that as an actor we must pursue and the amount of effort and work one puts in their art will always prove fruitful. As an actor, with all hardships one faces, one must always keep going and pushing their boundaries without a shadow of doubt. She speaks about her father who is a motivational speaker, she says he always said, "Mannat you will be really glad if you give it your all, if you have tried really hard as you’ll never have regrets. Don't give up. This is my dream and this is what I want to work for. That's stuck with me and that's what I tell myself. Even on days when I'm feeling low, I don't get up and I'm not able to do what I want to but there are days that you have to pick yourself up and remind yourself of the purpose that you have aspired to achieve." The filmmaker that inspires me the most and that I would love to work with in the future is Sanjay Leela Bhansali as I have just really liked his work since I was a little child. • Colour Psychology in Fashion: Explained

Colour Psychology in Fashion: Explained by Aishwarya Colour Psychology in Fashion: Explained 9 December 2022 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Colour has a major role in our day-to-day life. Colours influence our mood and perception in life. They are an inevitable and important aspect of our lives. We buy clothes based on our colour liking, but the psychology behind it often goes unnoticed. Colour is the first thing that we notice, whenever consuming something. The concept of colour psychology plays a big role in the fashion design field. Now, you might be thinking what is colour psychology? Colour psychology is the influence of colours on the functioning of a person. It is a study of colours and their shades, to know more about our human behaviour. We get influenced by many things like perception, placebo, moods, nature etc. It is believed that our ancestors also used colour psychology as a therapy. It isn't a modern-day concept but, Egyptians, as well as Chinese people, practised Chromotherapy. This therapy included colour psychology, through which they used to heal people from their ailments. Colours have their own significance and meaning, and this is used in the design field to provoke a certain emotion. For example, red indicates bold and fierce, blue indicates calmness and loyalty and so on. Some colours are also associated with the calendar seasons. In the fall season, we tend towards shades of brown and orange, while in the winters we tend towards bright fun colours. The four primary colours- red, blue, yellow and green, is related to our mind, body and emotions. Let us see a few colours and how it affects our cognitive behaviour. Red colour indicates physical strength, warmth, energy, excitement and stability. In spirituality, it is the colour of the root chakra, the chakra that controls our existence and deep rooted knowledge. It is a dominant colour and is often related to defence, aggression and strain. Red should be preferred when you want to show power and warmth at the same time. Blue colour indicates intellect, communication, trust, logic, loyalty, calm and serenity. It is the colour of the throat chakra, the chakra that rules communication and our truth. It is also associated with coldness, aloofness, and unfriendliness. Blue colour calms the mind unlike red colour, which excites the mind. Blue can be worn for professional endeavours as it represents confidence and reliability. The yellow colour indicates optimism, creativity, self-esteem, extraversion and emotional strength. It is the colour of the Solar Plexus chakra, the chakra that rules the self, and the identity of the person. It is also associated with irrationality, fear, depression and suicide. The yellow colour has a long and emotionally stimulating wavelength to it. Yellow is considered to be the most active colour, psychologically. Violet indicates spiritual awareness, containment, vision, luxury, truth and quality. It is the colour of the Third Eye chakra, the chakra that rules intuition and higher perspective. It also indicates introversion, suppression and inferiority. It is considered that the people who wear purple are creative, insightful, and have an artistic approach. They are often mysterious and dreamy. The Grey colour depicts a lack of confidence, hibernation and depression. Grey is the only colour that has no direct psychological effects. The absence of colour makes it a depressing sight to see. It is a symbol of tranquillity, maturity and neutrality. It is difficult to define the characteristics of a person wearing a grey colour. The most loved colour, black depicts sophistication, glamour, efficiency and security. It also indicates oppression, menace and heaviness. Black is an absorption of all colours and doesnt depict a single characteristic of its own. Black creates an impression of importance and power. It makes the person to be taken seriously and respectfully. The effects of colours on our minds are more than we can ever imagine. So, the next time you choose a dress for yourself, make sure to know what you are looking to represent and then choose the colour. Choose the colours that you want in your life and, don't let the colours choose you instead. Colour psychology is the influence of colours on the functioning of a person. • A Quiet Affair With Bangkok At Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok

By Shriniwas Kodape TRAVEL A Quiet Affair With Bangkok At Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok By Shriniwas Kodape 14 August 2025 Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement The sky had just started melting into a bruised purple when I rolled into Sukhumvit. The kind of Bangkok evening that clings to your skin, rich with exhaust fumes, grilled chicken, and possibilities. The Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok didn’t tower so much as it stood with purpose—its glass façade reflecting a thousand fractured city lights. It didn’t need to scream; it whispered welcome in the way old cities do. Inside, the lobby pulsed with soft light and a hush that felt like velvet. No fuss, no spectacle—just the hum of polished floors, muted jazz, and smiles that reached the eyes. The check-in was less transaction, more choreography. I barely noticed the paperwork. I remember the cold towel, the floral scent of the welcome drink, and the quiet assurance that I’d landed somewhere that understood the balance between stillness and movement. Upstairs, the room opened like a scene change. Floor-to-ceiling windows stretched across Bangkok’s tangled sprawl, and I stood barefoot on the carpet, watching the BTS Skytrain snake through the city like a slow metal thought. The bed was impossibly inviting. The kind you fall into without meaning to. And the bathroom—marble, glass, silence—became a sanctuary all its own. I stayed under the rain shower until time loosened its grip on my shoulders. Morning came soft and forgiving. I wandered down to breakfast, where cuisines danced around each other without borders. I saw miso soup flirting with hash browns, samosas holding court beside bacon. A chef behind the egg station looked up and nodded before I spoke, like he’d already read the kind of morning I was having. The coffee was dark, generous, and unhurried. It asked nothing of me except presence. Later, I found myself floating in the rooftop pool, the city buzzing below, oblivious. Sunlight scattered across the water, and for a moment, everything stilled—the taxis, the horns, the deadlines. The world could wait. By sundown, I made my way to Brewski , the open-air bar perched high above the Bangkok beat. There’s something about sipping craft beer at eye level with the skyline that rewires your perception. The amber lights, the long wooden bar, the crisp laughter of travelers who had already surrendered to the city’s rhythm. I ordered a local IPA that carried notes of citrus, coriander, and Bangkok heat. It slipped down easy, like the night. Hunger led me down to Attico , a Tuscan hideaway draped in warm light and rustic woods. The wine breathed in its glass. The truffle risotto arrived steaming, fragrant, unapologetically rich. A playlist of Italian jazz hummed in the background. The room wasn’t crowded, but it was alive—families talking with their hands, lovers leaning in, chefs plating dishes with quiet intensity. And then there was Chao Phya, where Thai cuisine was treated with reverence, not spectacle. Each dish told its own story. The tom yum had depth, not just heat. The jasmine rice was perfectly steamed, catching the flavors like silk. There was no rush, no showmanship. Just flavor, history, and the kind of cooking that came from memory more than manuals. Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok didn’t try to impress. It simply was. A hotel that knew how to fade into the background so you could foreground your own experience. It gave space without distance, luxury without noise. It was the pause between exhale and inhale, the quiet beat between footsteps. On my last morning, I lingered by the window. The city was already wide awake, but I moved slower now. Something about this place had rewired the way I listened, the way I looked. I was packed with the strange heaviness of knowing something subtle had shifted. And as the elevator descended, I didn’t feel like I was leaving a hotel—I felt like I was stepping out of a story I’d quietly become part of. • Four Seasons Bangkok: Elegance On The Edge Of Madness

By Shriniwas Kodape TRAVEL Four Seasons Bangkok: Elegance On The Edge Of Madness By Shriniwas Kodape 21 July 2025 Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement The boy at the ferry terminal had a cigarette tucked behind his ear and a cobra tattoo curling down his neck. He didn’t say a word. Just pointed upriver, where the brown Chao Phraya slid slow and wide, like the city had been bleeding into it for centuries. The boat pulled up—silent, carved teak and polished brass, elegant in a way that felt like a setup. I stepped aboard like a man unsure if he’d packed enough sins to deserve what was coming. Bangkok doesn’t offer warm welcomes. She eats your shoes, kisses your cheek, and leaves her perfume on your collar while she vanishes into traffic. But ride the river long enough—past grilled pork skewers, alleyways that smell like diesel and durian, monks with AirPods—and you’ll hit a lull in the madness. That’s where Four Seasons Bangkok lives. Not stands. Lives. This isn’t a hotel. It’s a whispered confession of what hospitality could be if we all just tried a little harder. You don’t enter. You get absorbed. First by stillness: sheets of water like glass, marble that hums underfoot, ceilings that arch like they’ve been blessed. Art isn’t an afterthought here. It leans toward you like it’s got secrets to tell. And then there’s the scent—jasmine, bergamot, maybe a dash of whatever the ultra-rich wear when they want to feel grounded. Subtle. Addictive. My room overlooked the river. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrapped the view like a confession. The Chao Phraya didn’t pose for pictures. It moved, muttered, judged. Temples blinked gold across the way, while barges slithered past like half-sunken beasts. I sat on the bed longer than I care to admit, just watching the sky soften into a mango-stained hush, and wondering when I last let myself be still. But stillness in Bangkok is a fragile thing. I headed for Yu Ting Yuan—the kind of name that rolls off the tongue like a lie you want to believe. It’s Michelin-recommended now (once starred, and still proud). The lacquered duck was divine. The dim sum? Heartbreak in a bamboo steamer. The service knew me before I opened my mouth. I didn’t eat. I surrendered. Next came Riva del Fiume, the hotel’s ode to Italy. Think Amalfi with Bangkok’s swagger. Breakfast turned spiritual: buttery croissants, mango like flame, espresso that understood my problems but never judged. By the third morning, I’d stopped checking the menu. The staff knew what I needed better than I did. But it’s after dark that Four Seasons really seduces. BKK Social Club isn’t a bar. It’s a fever dream in velvet and glass. The kind of place where Anthony Bourdain would’ve ordered a negroni and never left. I chugged four. Each one more perfect than the last—Campari, vermouth, gin, ice cold and unapologetically bitter. The kind of bitter that makes you feel seen. I had something called Bananazo too—rum, cacao, banana bitters. It tasted like Havana and burned like Buenos Aires. The bartender didn’t talk much. Just nodded like a priest serving penance. And when I finally stumbled out—high on citrus and sins—I felt more myself than I had in years. The next morning, salvation called from The Urban Wellness Center. 2,500 square meters of forgiveness. Thai massage. Quartz stones. A therapist who cracked my joints with the precision of a surgeon and the tenderness of a monk. I came out smelling like lemongrass and absolution. https://video.wixstatic.com/video/08ff15_0e254c447d4b457b9818d9dd7cffce1c/1080p/mp4/file.mp4 But the genius of Four Seasons Bangkok isn’t in the duck or the drinks or the divine spa. It’s in the spaces between. The silence before the jazz kicks in. The way the light hits the pool at 5:47 PM. The staff remembering your name like it’s a poem, not a job. The world still spun madly outside. Tuk-tuks screamed. The markets throbbed. Somewhere, a tourist ordered a fishbowl cocktail and made a mistake. But not here. Here, the river slowed. The wind hushed. And for a few stolen days, I didn’t need to run. I was home. • Chungkang University: Next‑Gen K‑style, Culture Into Fashion

Chungkang University: Next‑Gen K‑style, Culture Into Fashion By Anurag Sen Chungkang University: Next‑Gen K‑style, Culture Into Fashion 9 July 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement When Chungkang University of Cultural Industries made its return to the Thailand Fashion Week runway, its students brought a surge of youthful energy and fearless originality. Their showcase leaned into a modern interpretation of K‑Style, where tradition blended with trend and culture met cutting‑edge creativity. Established in 1996 as South Korea’s first cultural‑industry‑focused institution, Chungkang has carved a reputation for empowering its third‑year students to bridge academic learning with real‑world design. These emerging designers, working under the guidance of the Fashion Beauty Style School, translated classroom rigor into runway readiness. They layered tech‑inflected tailoring over hanbok‑inspired drapes, interwove neon trims with pleated skirts that nodded to traditional Korean dance, and fused streetwear silhouettes with couture accents through bold embroidery. It was evident the students weren’t just constructing garments—they were telling stories, performing identity, and experimenting with the evolving vocabulary of Korean fashion. What distinguished this presentation from a typical student project was its vitality. Models didn’t simply wear the outfits—they inhabited them. Under pulsating lights and to rhythmic energy, a structured jacket unfolded into cascading panels, and pleated dresses twisted tradition into modern silhouettes. It felt more like a cultural performance than a runway show—a choreography of craftsmanship and innovation. Chungkang’s fashion curriculum is rooted in real‑world demands; students learn not just how to design, but how to build brands, dress for the stage, and experiment with digital tools—all skills increasingly necessary in today’s global fashion landscape. Rather than presenting work in a classroom, these students were given a platform on one of Asia’s major runways. Their creativity was tested under public lighting and professional scrutiny. The power of their collective voice was unmistakable. Each look felt like a conversation—between ancestral heritage and futuristic vision. A bomber jacket made from hanbok silk became a symbol of dialogue across time. Pleated skirts and tech elements evoked Korea’s K‑pop‑infused future. Oversized cuts, bold embroidery, and layered textures brought ancestral art into contemporary conversations. It was as if fifteen distinct narratives merged into a singular statement of identity and innovation. Chungkang’s global perspective underpins this ambition. With partnerships across Italy, Japan, China, and frequent international internships, the school ensures students don’t merely learn; they encounter global trends with home heritage as their foundation. On Bangkok’s runway, it was clear their perspective was home‑grown before becoming world‑ready: a confident assertion of Korean design’s future. Thailand Fashion Week showcased these student designers not as novices, but as rising voices. The runway acted as both debut and credential—the first look at their potential as fashion professionals. Here, fashion education met the industry, and cultural curiosity met global exposure. Chungkang University didn’t send students to Thailand Fashion Week—they sent emerging cultural leaders. What took place on that stage wasn’t just academic theory—it was a declaration: Korean fashion’s future is bold, hybrid, and learning‑driven. The institution didn’t simply showcase fifteen student designs. It spotlighted a movement in progress.
